he Professional Development Center, Montana Department of Administration, is bringing a highly acclaimed management series to Miles City in September. “The Essentials of Management” will start on Sept. 7.
The series includes eight sessions on these dates: Sept. 7, 8, 14, 15, 20, 21, 27, 28. Each session will take place from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Topics include conflict resolution, performance management, long-and-short range planning, discipline handling, and legal issues of management.
Over 1,800 people have attended “The Essentials of Management”. The training addresses issues critical to all managers who supervise other people. It qualifies for POST credit and Teacher Renewal credit.
Sponsored by the Professional Development Center, training arm of the Montana Department of Administration, the series will include a team of instructors with over 70 years’ of combined experience in adult education.
The series will take place at the Holiday Inn Express, Miles City. Participation is open to all interested persons at $565 for “A Delicate Balance: Privacy and the Right to Know”. Perfect attendance at all eight sessions earns a $100 discount, lowering the fee to $465. Group discounts also apply for multiple people from the same organization.
