Foundation For Community Care Board Of Directors Helps To Ensure Quality Health Care

It takes the dedication of 17 local volunteers to lead the Foundation for Community Care; we are pleased to welcome Jeff Aisenbrey, Lorilee Norby and Brian Milne as our newest board of directors. Larry Tveit Jr. (chair), Richard Iversen (vice-chair), Dwight Thiessen (treasurer), Libby Berndt, Margaret Bradley, John Dynneson, Yvette Lien, Michael McCollum, David McMillen, David Seitz, Mildred Shields, Larry Simonsen, Jim Steinbeisser and Mark Tombre comprise the other volunteer members of the board.

The continuance of quality healthcare in Richland County and the surrounding area is the heart of the Foundation for Community Care. As a not for profit, 501(c)(3) organization, 100% of all donations stay right here at home!

The Foundation for Community Care offers those who care about our community a way to make a difference to the future of health care by making tax deductible contributions of cash, stocks, bonds, real estate and life insurance or by including the Foundation in your will or trust. In 2011, $236,713.98 was granted to area organizations for health care resources. Your donations help students pursuing an education in a health care related field through the scholarship program as well as helping patients of Sidney Health Center offset travel expenses while dealing with medical emergencies. The Foundation for Community Care manages more than 19 specific departments where gifts can be designated, the most recent being Phase II of the Cancer Care Center.

Our Community – Our Health – Our Future relies on volunteerism. Thank you to the past and present board of directors for your dedication to the future of healthcare in our community.
