The Sidney Area Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture had a great gathering for their first banquet in the Richland County Fairgrounds Event Center. After a prime rib dinner by Leroy’s Catering, and reports by the Chamber leadership, Rocky Erickson, Northern News Network sports broadcaster, entertained with stories on unique Montana athletes.
The evening then concluded with Chamber awards. Receiving awards were: Agriculture award, sponsored by Ag Roundup, to Richland County Commissioners; Educator of the Year, sponsored by DTF Educational Consulting to Yvonne Gebhardt, Sidney High School; Entrepreneur award, sponsored by Richland Federal Credit Union, to Sunny’s Family Restaurant; Horizon award, sponsored by Sidney Health Center, to Rau DeSigns; and The Sunrise Spirit award, sponsored by Sidney Herald, to B&B Builders.
Outgoing President David Seitz received the Past-President’s plaque sponsored by Sidney Country Club. Leading the Chamber in 2012 is Cami Skinner, Wells Fargo Bank.
