2013 Annie’s Project To Be Held in Watford City

“To empower farm women to be better business partners”

The 2013 Session of Annie’s Project, a program developed to empower farm and ranch women to be better business partners, will kick off the third Tuesday (January 22) in January 2013 in Watford City

Classes will be held on six Tuesday evenings at the Courthouse Meeting Room starting at 5 pm and concluding by 8 pm. A supper meal will be included.

The purpose of the program is to help agricultural women gain the understanding and knowledge necessary to be active and involved farm and ranch partners. In addition, Annie’s Project will help women find new ways to balance demands of family, community and professionalism within the agricultural community. Sessions will combine lecture, discussion, individual and small group activities and computer training.

Specific topics include: Real Colors® (personality profiles), Farm and Family Finances, Farm & Ranch Financial Analysis, Computer Programs designed for Farm Business Management, Crop & Livestock Marketing, and Farm Business Planning.

Presentations will be a combination of interactive video conferences and local presentations. Registration is limited so people are encouraged to register early.

Registration for the course is $100 and includes software, books, meals and materials. Full payment must accompany registration applications. Registrations must be postmarked by January 7, 2013. After January 7, the late registration fee is $135.
