Sidney Local To Attend Student Action Summit In Florida

Reagan Hall, a junior who attends Freedom Project Academy, will be attending Turning Point USA’s 6th annual Student Action Summit on Dec.19-22 in West Palm Beach, FL. Here Hall will hear from several guest speakers, receive first-class activism and leadership training, and participate in a series of networking events with political leaders and organizations.

Turning Point USA is a non-profit organization founded by Charlie Kirk, an American conservative activist, and radio talk show host. This organization’s goal is to educate, train, and organize students to promote the principles of freedom, free markets, and limited government.

Turning Point USA hosts six National Summits and eight Regional Conferences each year. Each conference features the top leaders in the conservative movement. It also provides resourceful breakout training and networking sessions for student attendees.

According to http://www.tpusa.com, past speakers include President Donald Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, Jared Kushner, Donald Trump Jr, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Ben Shapiro, Tucker Carlson, Secretary Betsey DeVos, and several others.

“I am most excited to hear from Tucker Carlson and Rudy Giuliani. Since Rudy is Trump’s lawyer, I think he will probably have a lot of good information to share,” stated Hall.

Thousands of conservative student activists between the ages of 15 and 25 gather at this event to hear a variety of perspectives on several important issues including the importance of freedom, free markets, and limited government.

Hall is particularly interested in hearing the speakers’ perspectives on the important issues being discussed at the summit. She said, “I think it is good to get out of your little bubble and hear different perspectives. Not everyone there has the exact same perspective so I think it will be good to hear other people’s reasoning on certain issues.”

In addition to this, she explained that she is excited to go to the beach in Florida and get out of the cold winter weather.
