Sidney Sugars Inc. reported a fire in their crystalizer, north of the office building on Sept. 22 at 4:50 a.m. There was exterior damage to the crystalizer and two pumps. The Sidney Fire Department responded at 4:55 a.m., along with the Richland County Ambulance and a tender for extra water.
