Fairview, Froid/Med. Lake Advance to State Class C Basketball Tourney

MHSA Eastern C Divisional Basketball Tournament was held in Sidney last week. The top 2 teams will advance to the state tournament in Great Falls March 9-12. Placing for the boys were Froid/Med. Lake – 1st and Fairview – 2nd. Placing for the girls were Plentywood – 1st. Scobey will face North Country in a challenge game for 2nd. For the boys, Fairview will play Manhattan Christian Wednesday at 3 p.m. and Froid/Med. Lake will play Roy-Winifred Wednesday at 6 p.m. For the girls, the winner of the Scobey/North Country game will play Twin Bridges Thursday at noon and Plentywood will play Manhattan Christian Thursday at 5 p.m.
