On Aug. 20 at approximately 3:38 a.m. on 32nd Ave. W. and Bison Drive, Williston, ND, a southbound 2017 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Paul Stewart, Williston, ND, on 32nd Ave. W. struck a pedestrian, Amanda Garrison, Williston, ND. Stewart was wearing his seatbelt and sustained no injuries. Garrison was pronounced deceased on scene.
At the time of the crash the road conditions were good and dry and the weather was clear.
The agencies who responded to the crash were North Dakota Highway Patrol, Williston Police Department, Williams County Sheriff Office, Williston Fire, and Williston EMS.
This crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
