Larry Lynde Benefit Sept. 9

The Sidney Eagles biggest fan is now battling cancer and needs your help. Sidney native Larry Lynde has stage 4 colon cancer which has spread to his liver. He is currently undergoing chemo treatments and anticipating further treatment options, including surgery. Larry is employed by the City of Sidney and continues working as treatments allow. Sports fans know Larry as a huge supporter of the Eagles as well as other local and college teams. It's not unusual to hear a Larry! Larry! Larry! chant at a local football game!

Saturday, Sept. 9 starts off with the annual Wanna Be An Elk 4-person golf scramble with registration from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the Sidney Country Club. Tee off is at 10 a.m. Registration forms can be picked up at the Elks Lodge 1782. Price is $75 per golfer which does not include a cart.

The benefit for Lynde will begin at 5 p.m. with a free will offering brisket and pulled pork dinner. Silent and live auctions will take place beginning at approximately 7 p.m. with auction items being generously donated by local merchants and individuals. Please call the Elks at 406-433-2406 if you need pickup of your items.

Please help in any way you can to assist Lynde through his cancer journey. Financial donations can also be made at the Elks. Larry, his family and friends thank you for your generous support.
