Spaghetti Feed & Silent Auction To Be Held As Medical Benefit For 6 Yr. Old Jan. 20

The Badlands Fraternal Order of Police will be holding a spaghetti feed and silent auction at the Carl E. Rogan Post 29, Saturday, Jan. 20, from noon-3 p.m. to help the daughter of one of their own receive lifesaving healthcare.

Katherine Beebe is only six years old and is the daughter of one of the members of the FOP as well as a deputy sheriff with the McKenzie County Sheriff’s Office. In November 2023, her parents noticed that there was something wrong. They got her to a doctor and found she has a rare heart condition that is, of yet, undiagnosed. She will require multiple tests, scans, and procedures to assist in finding out her diagnosis. She has been referred to the Minnesota Children’s Specialty Clinic, St. Paul, over 600 miles away. Her family needs financial help for the immediate surgery and treatment she will need, and fuel to travel back and forth between North Dakota and Minnesota.

A family friend has purchased all of the food for the spaghetti feed at Jack and Jill, Watford City. There will also be French bread and drinks. The Badlands Fraternal Order of Police is still accepting donated items for the silent auction. There will be t-shirts available for purchase the day of the event for $15 each as well.

Watch the FOP Badlands Lodge 8 Facebook page for additional information. The Carl E. Rogan Post 29 is located at 313 12th St. SE, Watford City. 100% of the proceeds from this benefit will go to the Beebes for Katherine’s medical needs and travel expenses.
