Ranger Bantams – Two Games, Two Shutouts

"The harder you work, the harder it is to lose." "If you want to play, then practice. If you want to win, then practice harder." – These are just a couple quotes from Unite Hockey, and these quotes couldn't ring truer for the Richland Ranger Bantams. The Bantams continue to have success on the ice as they dominated their last two games this past weekend.

On Saturday, Feb. 17, the Ranger Bantams traveled to Williston to face the Williston Flyers. The Rangers were successful with a shutout win of 10-0 over the Flyers giving them their 12th straight win in league play.

Sunday, Feb. 18, the Rangers competed against Bismarck Red on home ice and were able to secure their second shutout win of the weekend defeating Bismarck Red with a score of 5-0.

As this small, but incredible team goes into this next weekend they will be faced with their hardest competition to date as they face the Crosby Comets, the only other undefeated team thus far in the North Dakota Bantam B West league.

Friday, Feb. 23, they will travel to North Dakota to face off against Crosby. Then, on Saturday, Feb. 24, the Ranger Bantams will return to Sidney for their last home game of the season where they face off against Crosby once again. Finally, they will travel to Minot on Sunday, Feb. 25, for their last game of the season.

With 13 league games down and just three final league games to go the Bantams 2023-2024 season is winding down. The players are looking forward to their Bantam B Gold state tournament where all their hard work will be put on display. This state tournament will push the Bantams to work their absolute hardest yet to have a chance to bring home the championship. The state tournament will be held in Crosby, ND from March 7-10.

Just one weekend of home games left for your Richland Rangers so come on down to the rink and show your support.
