At approximately 6:20 p.m. on Nov. 6 Roosevelt County Deputies responded to a reported shooting at StateLine/Colby’s Casino, Bainville. Upon arrival they discovered three people deceased, including the suspected shooter. Based on evidence recovered the shooting incident at StateLine/Colby’s Casino appears to have been a double-murder suicide. All three subjects were known to each other and no bystanders were injured. The Richland County DES and Richland County Sheriff's Department have purchased two new drones to aid in responding to emergencies.
