Sidney Sugars Announces New Employees

Sidney Sugars is pleased to announce that Chad Williams has accepted the position of Production Engineer / Shift Superintendent at Sidney Sugars Incorporated effective Monday, June 4, 2012. In this position, Chad will be responsible for completing independent engineering projects and also managing a production shift. During the beet sugar processing campaign, Chad will direct the shift operations of the factory. During the inter-campaign, he will manage base capital and installation of capital equipment and oversee the mechanical repair of equipment.

Chad resides in Sidney, MT. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Montana State University and recently completed an Engineering Internship at SSI.

In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, hunting, and participating in other recreational sports.

Sidney Sugars pleased to announce that Richard Carlson has accepted the position of E& I Supervisor at Sidney Sugars Incorporated effective Monday, May 28, 2012. In this position, Richard will be responsible for directing the day-to-day inspection, maintenance and repair activities of electrical and instrumentation employees as applied to factory machinery and equipment. He will also be heavily involved in the commission, installation and maintenance of capital projects.

Richard has been with SSI for over 16 years and has held the positions of Sr. Electronics Tech RRC and Instrument Tech I. He graduated from North Dakota State School of Science with an Associate’s degree in Industrial Electronics/Instrumentation.

Richard lives in Sidney, MT and has three grown children: Meghan, Nicole and David. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, camping and enjoying the outdoors.
