Eastern MT Development Forum Sept. 13

An Eastern Montana Development Forum ocusing on the intersection of housing and workforce development will be held Sept. 13 in Miles City. The forum will be from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Miles Community College

This event will provide an opportunity for participants to share information and explore ideas on how to increase the supply of affordable housing, be responsive to the needs of a dynamic job market and promote sustainable economic growth in Eastern Montana.

The forum will kick off at 11:30 a.m. to highlight the Eastern Montana Energy Workforce Development Initiative and the collaborative partnership formed to strengthen our workforce. Afternoon sessions will focus on ensuring a variety of housing options in response to the energy sector boom and will include housing developers, planners, community leaders, public officials and other interested parties. The event will conclude with interactive working sessions to discuss project specific questions.
