Public is Invited to Come Learn About Local Red Cross

The American Red Cross, through its strong network of volunteers, donors and partners, is always there in times of need. If you want to turn compassion into action, become a volunteer and make a difference every day!

Please join us on Monday, February 11, 2013, at 5:30 PM for an informational meeting about the American Red Cross at the DES office in the Nutter Building at 123 W Main Street in Sidney. Current members will provide a potluck dinner for all.

Learn all about Red Cross and our local Disaster Action Team. Local volunteers will provide an overview of Red Cross services, explain how things work, what’s expected of volunteers and answer any questions you may have.

Volunteers may provide emergency assistance to victims of a house fire, teach classes, or work in a shelter. Whether you are interested in community services, disaster services or any of the other lines of services in the Red Cross, you’ll find something that fits your niche. Your options at Red Cross are endless.
