Seven members of the Sidney Tendo Tae Kwon Do and Judo school traveled to Billings on Saturday, April 26 to participate in the 48th Annual NWTA Karlo Eujiwara Memorial Tae Kwon Do and Judo Tournament. This event was held at the MSU-Billings Alterowitz Gym and hosted by the Martial Arts Academy of Billings.
Competitors from Sidney and their results are as follows.
In Judo randori; Shawn Daleske: in the 14 to 17 year old boys division placed 4th.
Casey Christenson in the same division placed 3rd.
In Tae Kwan Do forms, board breaking and sparring divisions.
Corey Christensen, in the 6 and 7 year old blue belt division, placed 2nd in forms, 2nd in board breaking and 3rd in sparring.
Trevor Green, in the 8 and 9 year old blue belt division placed 3rd in forms and 1st in sparring.
Travis Green in the 10 to 12 year old blue belt division placed 1st in forms and 2nd in sparring.
Samuel Stephenson, in the 10 to 12 year old purple belt division placed 1st in forms and 1st in sparring.
Hailey Christensen in the 10 to 12 year old black belt division placed 3rd in forms, 2nd in board breaking and 2nd in sparring.
