"It's a Small Town Christmas" in Sidney

The Sidney Area Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture plans a holiday season full of fun and excitement to encourage everyone to “Shop Sidney First.”

The annual Big Bucks loan program started November 1 with over 30 chamber businesses participating. For a $15 fee, applicants can receive up to $1000 upon loan approval at Stockman Bank, Yellowstone Bank and Richland Federal Credit Union, with nine months to repay, interest free.

The popular Christmas Cash Giveaway returns for another year! Customers shopping at participating Chamber businesses from November 1 - 30 receive one entry ticket for every $20 spent, up to $1000 or 50 tickets per transaction, for a chance to win $3000 in Chamber Bucks, sponsored by Oneok. Individuals may also receive one ticket per person per day at the Chamber office, no purchase necessary. The drawing will be live at noon on December 1 at the Shops at Fox Run on Power 95.1 and the Chamber’s Facebook page. Ticket holders will have five minutes to claim their prize or another ticket will be drawn. Drawings include one $1000 prize, two $500 prizes and four $250 prizes, paid in Chamber Bucks.

Stroll through the amazing shops in Sidney Thanksgiving weekend to find that perfect gift and bargains galore. A full day of events starts Friday with Breakfast with Santa at 8 a.m. at the fire hall and ends with the parade of lights at 6:30 p.m. following Central Avenue north.
