Badlands Gymnastics took their competitors on the road for the second time in 2019, competing at the Starstruck Qualifier in Mandan, ND on January 19. They had a great competition, coming home with one team trophy and a number of 1st place finishes.

Badlands raised their team score by an incredible 7 full points + to take the third place position among tough competition, including last year's Level 3 State Champion American Gold. Second year competitors Fallon Sampsel and Navy Barker stepped up for their best AA's of the year, contributing heavily to the team score increase. First year newcomers Skye Cutshall & Bayley Brooks also contributed to the team score. A 7 point increase in gymnastics would be like a basketball team increasing their output by 50 points!
