The Northeastern Arts Network is pleased to present the 2021-22 Big Sky Concert Series to our community. This year's series features exciting live theatre and a kaleidoscope of musical entertainment as part of this art organization's ongoing commitment to provide quality entertainment to the community with a variety of shows that will appeal to every age and interest. The following performances will be held on Friday evenings at 7 p.m. at MonDak Heritage Center, Sidney.

The first performance of the season kicks off on Friday, Oct. 29. "Men of Worth" are an international act, and have earned much respect and success in over 30 years of touring together. Scotsman Donnie Macdonald and Irishman James Keigher perform Irish and Scottish folk music, combining traditional and contemporary styles. Together "Men of Worth" blend their voices with harmony and support their collection of songs with their varied selection of instruments.

Back by popular demand on Nov. 19 are sisters Carli and Julie Kennedy. "Twin Kennedy's" family-friendly show has been a hit across North America. Now based in Nashville, TN, the duo crisscrosses the continent multiple times a year, receiving standing ovations everywhere they go. With Carli on guitar and vocals, and Julie on fiddle and vocals, these twins have been described as "Nothing Short of Awesome!"

Acoustic Eidolon joins the series on Feb. 18, 2022. Consisting of Hannah Alkire (cello and vocals) and Joe Scott (double-nick guitjo, ukulele and vocals) this musical duo performs original music, covers, and weaves stories of the music and their travels and life between songs. Their passion and energy draws one into their musical realm with humor and poignancy. Both performers are recognized internationally for their music and instrumentation.

John Roberts closes the series on March 11, 2022. John Roberts Y Pan Blanco is an original sound ensemble that is designed to make the audience move. They are melding high energy, danceable Funk, African and Salsa grooves with blistering instrumental solos, all aimed at sharing musical diversity with the audience. With an incredibly energetic band of high-level musicians, John Roberts brings many years of national and international touring, recording and performing experiences to this family-friendly band.
