36th Annual Dakota Cowboy Poetry Gathering May 29-30

On Saturday, May 28 and Sunday, May 29, the 36th Annual Dakota Cowboy Poetry Gathering will be happening at Medora Community Center, Medora, ND. Everyone is welcome to attend.

On Saturday, May 28 registration is at 9 a.m. with a celebration from 10-11 a.m. for Badger Clark, South Dakota’s First State Poet Laureate by Pegie Douglas, then the night show starts at 7:30 p.m. featuring Marci Broyhill, Dakota City, NE; Vernon Prestegord, Twin Valley, MN; Jim Hamilton, Decker, MT; Kurt Rockeman, Great Falls, MT; with Emcee Bill Lowman, Sentinel Butte, ND.

On Sunday, May 30 there will be Cowboy Gospel singing, 9 a.m., then a night show starting at 7:30 p.m. featuring Ron Hansen, New Town, ND; Richard Mosch, Erhard, MN; Duane Nelson, Tysh Valley, OR; Tom Brosseau, Grand Forks, ND; with Emcee Connie Gjermundson, Taylor, ND.
