Fort Union Trading Post Historical Site regularly holds special events like the Living History event held Sept. 3-4 to bring the rich history of the MonDak area to locals and visitors, alike. Living History volunteers and members from the local Fort Union Muzzle Loader Association participated in reenactments of the daily lives of the laborers and fort employees during its 39 years of operation.
