This last June, Cye Franzen earned his ticket to the National Junior High Finals Rodeo in Perry, GA; and he punched that ticket as the now reining 2023 National Junior High School Rodeo Steer Saddle Bronc Rider.
Over three rounds, Cye accumulated 199 points on his three steers. Round one he won, with 71 points. Round two he placed fourth with 58 points, and he won his last ride, in the short go, with a 70-point ride.
Cye's family will be hosting a meet and greet for the public on Friday, July 28, from 6-8 p.m., at the Rodiron Grill, Sidney, MT. They invite anyone interested in celebrating Cye's victory, and having the opportunity to meet the young champion, to join them!
He won round one with 71 points, 4th in round two with 58 points, won the short go with 70 points, winning the average with 199 points on three head.
