    The expansion on the event center at the Richland County Fairgrounds marches on and the Richland County Fair is just around the corner. The construction is still well underway. As said before, it will not be ready for this year's fair. The estimated time of completion of the project is June 2024.     Lane Papka, Savage, has really enjoyed his time in 4-H and how much it has helped him grow as a person. Over the past five years with the Yellowstone Valley Trailblazers, Papka has raised pigs and steers along with completing photography and woodworking projects. His favorite is the steers which he purchases from and keeps at Morgan Ernster's farm. His pigs have been housed at the Peter's farm.     Tammy Linder, Sidney, works at West Side Elementary School as a teacher/librarian. She is also the superintendent of the Needlework Department during the Richland County Fair. She has helped out at the fair and rodeo in this way for over 20 years.
