    POPLAR - The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) would like to notify the public and seek comments on a proposal to resurface about 13 miles of U.S. Highway 2 (US-2) west of Brockton in Roosevelt County. The project begins at the east edge of Poplar at reference post 613.26 and extends east for 12.9 miles, ending near the east edge of Brockton at reference post 626.13. Eileen Lambert and Morris Buckles of Poplar welcomed their baby boy on January 1 at 6:51 p.m. He weighed 8 pounds 4.9 ounces and measured 20 inches long.
