Locks of Love

Kathleen Thomas has been on a mission since hearing the news that her then 18 month old grandson, Kyler Streib, had been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). That mission was to grow her hair long enough to donate to Locks of Love. Now, 8 months later, she has cut off and donated 8 inches of hair to the organization, in Kyler’s name, which will be made into a wig for a child fighting cancer. “It wasn’t easy,” she stated. “My hair is so thick and curly and never this long, but for Kyler, I’ll do it.” Grandson Kyler will be able to check out Grandma’s new hair cut as she is going to Seattle to visit him and her daughter Misty soon.
