Mercy Medical Center Receives Major Donation From Halliburton

Representatives from Halliburton will present Matt Grimshaw, Chief Executive Officer of Mercy Medical Center, with a check for $25,000 on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at the visitor’s entrance on the southeast inside corner of Mercy Medical Center (1301 15th Avenue West). These funds are made possible through the Halliburton Charity Golf Tournament, which took place in late 2011 in Houston, Texas.

Mercy Medical Center is proud to be one of the recipients.

“The Halliburton Charity Golf Tournament’s generous donation has made it possible for us to purchase two orthopedic drills which will be used for surgical procedures in the operating room, as well as a riding vacuum which will be used to maintain our newly carpeted hallways,” said Matt Grimshaw, Mercy Medical Center President/CEO.

“At Halliburton, we believe that supporting our communities is important; we are very proud to partner with Mercy Medical Center and thank the staff for their commitment to making a difference in this community,” said Brent Eslinger, Halliburton’s Senior District Manager, Williston District.

“In providing service to others, our efforts remain focused on growing to serve the ever changing needs of our community. And through the philanthropic spirit of partners such as Halliburton, together we are able to achieve building a healthier community for us all,” said Grimshaw.

Mercy Medical Center is a fully accredited Joint Commission, 25-bed Critical Access regional medical facility which serves approximately 60,000 people from Western North Dakota and Eastern Montana. More details are available at http://www.mercy-williston.org.
