Plant Paradise greenhouse is eager to open for their sixth season on Friday, May 1st, with ten inch hanging baskets on sale for $12.99 for May Day. Customers should have orders placed in advance if they would like their May Day Baskets delivered on April 30th. Plant Paradise offers a wide variety of perennial and annual grasses and flowers, organic, vegetable and fruit varieties, and an excellent selection of trees and shrubs.
Preparation for the growing season begins months in advance and once the freeze warnings are over, the greenhouse is up and running providing new varieties of plants as well as traditional favorites. Linda Casey, owner of Plant Paradise, and her daughter Jessica Burns are available to answer gardening questions and help customers find just what they are looking for. Having worked at local greenhouses for several years, Casey has knowledge and experience and can offer helpful planting, growing, and maintenance tips.
"Customers are welcome to bring their planters and we will plant their arrangements for them," Casey said.
Even with an impressive selection of plants, if customers are looking for something specific it is best to pre-order to ensure they get what they want and can contact Plant Paradise at 406-798-3378. Their days and hours are Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm and Sundays from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Beginning the Fourth of July the greenhouse will be open by appointment only. Plant Paradise is located at 34514 Highway 200, Sidney, MT and Casey welcomes new and familiar customers alike to stop out and see her for all of their gardening needs.
