The Sidney High School Drama Club is pleased to present, Dracula, a production based on Bram Stoker's Dracula Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Oct. 13-15. The three-day production will be held in the Sidney Middle School auditorium.

The high schoolers, as always, are happy to perform it, but Christy Pierce, SHS drama coach, is the one who chooses the productions. She chose this one for this year for many reasons. "I've always wanted to do Dracula," she said. "The production is funny, for all ages, and just a little over an hour long." According to Pierce, this adaptation has only been in existence since January 2023. It's a new script, new material, and a lot of fun. Not only will the participants be acting out scenes and saying lines; but the actors will also be doing some of the sound cues.

The production starts at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Sunday, the production starts at 2 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors. There will be concessions for sale in the hallway to benefit the drama program. See the Sidney Eagle Speech, Drama, Debate & Drama Club Facebook page for updates.
