Sidney Chamber Holiday Gala Happens Nov. 25

With the holidays getting closer, the Sidney Chamber of Commerce has decided to hold a Holiday Gala Saturday, Nov. 25, in an effort to up the festivities around town for the holiday weekend. It will be a classy bit of fun at an event for all ages.

Dueling Pianos, Denver, CO, will be playing on the street-level floor of the Historic Yellowstone Mercantile building Saturday, Nov. 25 from 6-11 p.m. Serena Kringen, the owner of the building and Yellowstone Perc, had a vision for this event in her new venue space. It turned out so elegant that the chamber was motivated to make it happen sooner than later. Besides the show and drinks, there will be a prime rib dinner and a dessert auction.

According to "offthewagonrocks.com", a dueling piano show is a musical feast for the senses; two piano players face each other and take turns singing. It's a battle to the entertainment of the crowd. Exclusively, we put on an organic and traditional request-driven interactive Dueling Pianos show with comedy and audience participation." Lisa Gorder, chamber director of projects had a connection to the company this dueling pianos group plays for and she was able to get them to town on short notice.

The gala is a fundraiser for the Chamber. Specifically, to help fund a downtown renewal master plan project they have going. It will also benefit a few other area nonprofits that help them out with volunteers. The Sidney Wrestling Club will be providing a valet service.
