    District 2-C athletes fared well by earning top four recognition in events during the Top 10 track meet held in Glasgow on April 29. Savage’s Brooke Reuter came away with first-place honors in the 100 at 12.63 and 200 at 25.59. The senior also placed second in the long jump at 17-5 and third in the triple jump at 33-8.     Sidney came away with three first-place showings during the Top 10 track meet held in Glasgow on April 29. Morgan Kindopp, a junior, cleared 11-0 in the pole vault for top honors in that event. Audree Deming, a junior, earned first in the discus with a mark of 105-7. Chace Waters, a senior, gained top honors for Sidney’s boys with a mark of 52-1 in the shot put.     The Sidney Eagle baseball team had two tough losses over the weekend, which ended their dreams of participating in the State Baseball Tournament in Missoula.     District 2B appears in line to be increased to seven teams for basketball, volleyball and track starting in the 2025-2026 school year. The Montana High School Association Executive Board voted to reclassify Plentywood High School from Class C to Class B during a meeting last week.
