Sidney Area Chamber Banquet Set For Jan. 23

The Sidney Area Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture banquet is coming up soon on Jan. 23rd. It will be held at the Richland County Fairgrounds Event Center in the Yellowstone room. A no-host social starts at 6 p.m. and the prime rib dinner will be at 6:30 p.m.

Keynote speaker will be Rocky Erickson, Northern News Network sports director. He will be entertaining and interesting with the stories and playbacks he will provide.

Jim Haugen, retired director of the MHSA and a former Sidney Chamber Board member, will be our Master of Ceremonies for the evening.

TEAM UP IN 2012 is the theme for this year’s banquet, so please consider signing up to do a sports related terrific table (team table), and come in your favorite team apparel.

Leading the Sidney Area Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture in 2012 is Cami Skinner. A northeastern Montana native, Skinner moved to Sidney in 2008 and has been involved in the Chamber as a graduate of its Leadership Program, chairman of the Ag Appreciation Golf Tournament, and member of the Ag and Town and Country Festival committees.

Skinner earned her undergraduate and graduate level education at the University of Montana and began her professional career with GE Commercial Finance, prior to transitioning to Wells Fargo Bank as the Ag and Business Banker for the Sidney market. Skinner and her husband, Jon, enjoy being active members of the Sidney community.

She officially began her year at the helm of the Chamber on Jan. 1, and she will address the Chamber membership on Jan. 23 at the annual banquet.

Tickets are available at the Chamber and are $35 each through Wednesday, and $40 up until the banquet. The board is looking forward to this event in the new facility, with a great year to report, and a program that everyone will enjoy. Call 406-433-1619 or stop into the Chamber office to get your tickets.
