Wednesday, November 6, from 11:00am – 2:00pm at Millers’ Corner of Sidney, business leaders and other citizens will be voluntarily arrested, booked and jailed in this fundraiser benefiting the March of Dimes. They will be fingerprinted, have theirmug shot taken and go before a “judge”, for sentencing before being locked up. Jailbirds will then spend time behind bars phoning family, friends and co-workers to raise bail in the form of contributions to the March of Dimes, Montana. The March of Dimes mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects and infant mortality.
Support Jail & Bail Wednesday, November 6 to raise funds for the March of Dimes and its programs to improve the health of Sidney and the surrounding community’s mothers and babies. Founded in 1938, the March of Dimes funds programs of research, community services, education, and advocacy to save babies and in 2003 launched a campaign to address the increasing rate of premature birth.
