Montana Candidates Forums Slated for October In Sidney

The Sidney Area Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture and the Richland County Farm Bureau invite Richland County residents to the Candidates Forum scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on October 23rd. It will be held at the MSU Extension conference room north of Sidney on Highway 200.

Invited locally are candidates for Richland County Sheriff, Richland County District Court Judge and House Districts 36 and 37. Each candidate has the opportunity to provide a short prepared message, followed by questions submitted by the audience. This is an excellent opportunity to discover how the candidates stand on local issues.

We are also excited to announce two debates scheduled in October.

Candidates for U.S. Senate, Montana House of Representatives Amanda Curtis and U.S. Representative Steve Daines have been invited to a debate on October 21st, both parties have accepted and will be present. The debate will be held at the Richland County Fair Event Center at 7:00 p.m. Questions from the audience will be submitted to a moderator and read to the candidates.

Candidates for U.S. House of Representatives, former State Senator Ryan Zinke and John Lewis, have been invited to a debate scheduled for October 20th, Zinke’s campaign has confirmed. Again, the event will be held at the Richland County Fair Event Center at 7:00 p.m.

Both offer a prime opportunity to learn how each candidate will represent Eastern Montana in the U.S. Senate as well as in the U.S. Congress. Each U.S. candidate forum will also be carried live via radio and television.

Watch for further details to be released.
