    An early morning fire discovered about 2 a.m. Thursday, March 7 destroyed one of three hangers at the Sidney-Richland Regional Airport. The biggest of the three was the hanger that contained the biggest snow removal equipment. Airport manager Ryan Huotari said that they still have back-up equipment to keep open in the event of snow fall and that the airport is functioning as usual.     Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, baseball lovers have two new scoreboards at Lyndale Park in Sidney. According to avid baseball fan, Ross Rosaaen, the old scoreboards quit working several years ago, diminishing the experience for fans.     Richland County taxpayers can expect to receive an amended property tax statement within the next few weeks. The new tax bills are the result of the November 2023 Montana Supreme Court ruling in favor of Governor Gianforte and the Montana Department of Revenue (DOR), and against the 49 of Montana’s 56 counties that revolted against the DOR and refused to collect the full 95 mill state-level school equalization levy.
