    The Richland County Health Department is now offering spring COVID-19 boosters by appointment at regular vaccine clinics. The updated vaccine covers the COVID-19 variant that has caused most infections in 2023. The vaccine protects against COVID-19 only, and does not contain flu vaccine or any other vaccine. To be eligible for the new vaccine, you must be aged 65 or older, or 6 months or older and immunocompromised. You must also wait at least four months after the last COVID-19 vaccine.
