    On Sept 6, Fort Union will transition from summer hours to winter hours. Winter hours are 9 a.m.–5:30 p.m. CT. These hours will be in effect from Sept. 6 until Memorial Weekend 2016. The park is open from 8 a.m.- 6:30 p.m. daily except winter holidays. Fort Union Trading Post is located 24 miles north of Sidney and 25 miles SW of Williston via highway 1804.
